My name is Lynsey Fleetwood, and I’m running for Prosecuting Attorney with a lifelong passion for justice and community safety.

 

I grew up in Indianapolis – one of four siblings – where I was raised with strong Christian values that shaped my character and laid the foundation for my lifelong conservative beliefs. These values – faith, family, and service – continue to influence every aspect of my life and career.

 

I earned a Criminal Justice Degree with a minor in Forensic Science from Purdue University. After Purdue, I attended the Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2022.

 

While in law school, I met my husband, Colton and fell in love not only with him, but also his home of Jackson County, Indiana. We married in 2022, and I proudly made Southern Indiana my home. In September 2024, Colton and I welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Mabel Louise, into the world. Lastly, you probably know my in-laws, Mason and Tawnya Fleetwood, as the owners of the beloved Blondie’s Pizzeria and Pub in Brownstown!

 

I’ve known from a young age that I wanted to be an attorney. That calling led me to become a deputy prosecutor in Jackson County since 2022. As a Christian and a lifelong Republican, I believe in accountability, public safety, and the rule of law. I am deeply committed to protecting our community, standing up for victims, and holding offenders accountable.
